Rad Technology The FutureIs Rad

Engineering a visual brand system to bridge the gap between construction and healthcare industries. Impressions on LinkedIn grew 53.7X, generating new B2B leads.

Rad Technology

RAD has transformed how healthcare facilities are built with its patented modular construction solutions.

Designed to meet the rigorous quality standards, scale, and technological demands of hospitals and cancer centers, RAD’s approach to site development significantly shortens timelines compared to traditional construction. More than 80% of each new build is manufactured and assembled off-site, enabling fully customized, code-compliant facilities to be erected and made operational in a fraction of the time it takes other builders.

Whether increasing imaging capacity, deploying advanced radiotherapy or oncology suites, or adding emergency care spaces, RAD provides healthcare providers with modern, high-performance facilities to start serving patients sooner.

Objectives & Approach Crafting a Campaign Around Industry-Shaping Innovation

RAD solved a core issue for healthcare providers: how to add or expand facilities safely and with speed to meet patient needs and rising volume. The challenge for marketing was how to clearly communicate RAD’s value proposition and show its advantages over traditional construction to decision-makers in Healthcare.

The RAD website was identified as the centerpiece of the strategy. It needed to educate a B2B audience and visually highlight RAD’s construction portfolio and processes in ways that would impress and inspire confidence.

Studio 3 was engaged for full creative services, including branding, website design, and multimedia production as a first phase. This was followed by supporting the RAD marketing team in launching targeted B2B campaigns across social media, paid and organic search. The goal was to create a modern and multi-channel brand experience, reflective of RAD’s category-defining innovation.

The Vision Behind the Build

Value propositions both define and distinguish what a company offers to its customers. They must be simple, succinct, and clear. Crafting one is easier said than done, especially when the business model is as unique as RAD. Beginning with exhaustive market research and a deep-dive into the RAD model, Studio 3 worked to distill its value proposition for creative expression across all marketing mediums.

3D Graphic Animation

The problem was how to visually communicate, in a matter of seconds, a sophisticated construction process that unfolds over months and in multiple locations. The only potential solution was 3D graphic animation. Studio 3 conceived and created a series of video properties showing full builds from start-to-finish in as little as 5 seconds, up to 3 minutes for the new RAD brand video.

An Integrated Brand Initiative

Once the core visual assets and key brand messaging for the new website had been shaped, it needed to be translated into marketing campaigns to help get the word out. In coordination with S3’s creative team, the S3 performance teams for Social, SEO, and Digital Ads strategized and deployed complementary campaigns across multiple digital channels.

Branding, Website Design (UI/UX), S3 Video & Photography Visualizing a RAD Future for Healthcare

The RAD website was one of the most intricate and layered creative engagements Studio 3 has undertaken. It began with an in-depth branding process that established a strategic direction and introduced new elevated brand visuals. The website needed to be highly interactive and visual, showcasing both the real-world hospitals and healthcare facilities RAD has built, along with the modular process that enables these projects to be completed in a fraction of the time required by traditional construction. The design relied heavily on custom 3D animation, paired with clear, direct, minimalist messaging.

Branding Branding the Vision Behind the Builds

RAD had redesigned their logo two years prior with a dark blue and orange color palette. They disliked that the logo didn’t feel unique and looked to Studio 3 to create new brand visuals that are distinctly RAD.

Website Design (UI/UX) Maximum Visuals, Minimalist Messaging

RAD requested a visuals-first site with minimal copy. S3 streamlined messaging and used video and imagery to make complex capabilities clear in seconds.

S3 Video & Photography The Full Construction Story, Told in Seconds

Studio 3’s most ambitious media production to date: crews traveled to four states to film completed RAD facilities. 3D animation was employed to compress a months-long construction process into seconds and minutes.

Social Media Marketing Bringing Modular Innovation to the Social Feed

Using 3D-animated videos and live-action footage of completed facilities captured by S3 Media, plus FAQ content from the new website, the Studio 3 social media team crafted a content strategy targeting RAD’s B2B audience. In collaboration with RAD’s internal marketing team, additional posts highlighted company news, events, milestones, and project updates. Distribution spanned Instagram and Facebook, with particular emphasis on LinkedIn for its business focus and decision-maker reach.

Impact Summary Multimedia Marketing for a Brand Redefining Its Category

Rebranding: High-End Minimalism

A refined brand system of typography, restrained color, generous whitespace, and graphic animation sets RAD apart in both construction and healthcare. The look carries through the website, where 3D graphics, diagrams, and live-action video lead while minimalist messaging underscores the story.

Multimedia Visualizing Months in Seconds

S3 Media crews trekked through Washington, Colorado, Michigan, and California to film completed RAD facilities. The breakthrough was the use of 3D graphics though, that compressed months of modular construction into seconds of video, demonstrating delivery in a fraction of competitors’ timelines.

Building on the S3 creative foundation, the social team crafted a B2B program across Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn. With strategic boosting, engagement rates increased 6x, impressions 71x, and tens-of-thousands of click-throughs to the new site generated qualified leads.

Using LinkedIn to Reach Decision Makers

LinkedIn served as the lead social channel to reach key decision-makers. FAQ cards, short build-sequence videos, and current news of RAD’s industry advancements increased impressions by 57x on LinkedIn. Consistent templates and cadence reinforced the brand, while analytics guided timing, creative, and a boosted budget to drive qualified clicks and inquiries.
