As Studio 3 has expanded nationally, we still sometimes get called “the Hollywood agency.” We don’t mind. It’s true. Our roots are in Los Angeles. Many of our employees have resumes in film and TV, as well as in Southern California’s tech industries.
Our beginnings were in bottom-funnel performance marketing in SEO and PPC, but it was the recognition that web and ad creative drive performance results, and that brand underpins success in digital marketing, that set Studio 3’s trajectory.
SEO-only or PPC-only agencies are a dime a dozen. Our Los Angeles office is where we began investing in creative, hiring top industry talent, and building the Creative and Media departments that drive client brand strategies today. This foundation is what's positioned Studio 3 for success in the AI era.
From LA Community College to CTO
Like many tech wizards, our CTO, Jesus Lizama, is self-taught. As a first-generation Mexican immigrant and student at LA Community College, he found Studio 3 through a Craigslist ad shortly after the DACA Act passed. His first role was as a web developer. Today, as a partner in the company, he has built the marketing platform systems that power national and international brands.
S3 Creative and Media
Los Angeles natives and residents, Chief Creative Officer, Andres Cuervo and Art Director, Jessie Flores lead the S3 Creative department. A partnership with Patrick Renna to run S3 Media gave Studio 3 a fully in-house multimedia production company that now produces over fifty on-location shoots a year across the U.S.
