Objectives & ApproachRealizing Brand Vision Through Creative Partnership
On top of building a 20+ year career as an attorney and founding one of the first fully focused work injury law firms in Texas, Javier Espinoza also studied art in college. When it came to his firm’s marketing, Javier’s experience was that most agencies didn’t fully grasp the brand he’d built or his target market. As a result, he often ended up personally art-directing the firm’s marketing assets, from the website to billboards and TV commercials.
Upon partnering with Lara Brock, the firm needed an agency to support the rebrand and reimagine its website. Javier didn’t want a typical “legal marketing” agency. He sought a creative team who could help envision something new, distinctive, and true to the firm’s identity and ideals. After vetting several, Studio 3 was selected for the honor.
Understanding the diverse classes, cultures, and professions of the Texas workforce was intrinsic to the project. With a clear vision for how the brand serves the state’s workers, Javier and Lara collaborated with Studio 3 to translate this vision into brand assets built for use across multimedia channels.
“I Know How It Feels”
The personal stories and backgrounds of the attorney partners at Espinoza & Brock in many ways parallel the life experiences of the clients they serve. To bring this forward, one of the primary creative vehicles for the brand was a series of video vignettes, each attorney’s story told in a personal environment: Lara’s family home, Stephen’s jiu-jitsu dojo, Javier’s kitchen, and Amanda’s farm.
Henry Cisneros, Lucha Libre & El Chavo
Over 64% of San Antonio’s population, and many of the firm’s clients, are Latino. It was imperative that the new web visuals authentically represent this culture. Filming on location in San Antonio and at Javier’s home, great care was taken to capture every nuance and detail, from art, music, and history to popular cultural references and cuisine.
The Premier Work Injury Firm
Espinoza & Brock is the only law firm in Texas that handles all four categories of cases arising from work injuries: workers’ compensation, non-subscriber, third-party, and Labor Code 451 cases. While the firm also handles other types of cases, its website needed to differentiate and highlight its unique experience and expertise in representing injured workers from all walks of life for branding and SEO purposes.
